Job Description:

For the expansion of our PV system team in China, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager that will carry out the assessment of PV systems during the full project cycle from planning over installation up to operation with regard to safety, reliability and long-term performance. The position is based in Shanghai and requires a high willingness for travelling to remote areas in China with support from a local team.

Further job details:

• Inspect PV system installations for adherence to design, code compliance and quality target
• Evaluate sites for potential new system installations
• Create project cost estimates and budgets
• Compile project reports and documentation

Job Requirement:

• Expatriate with working experience for PV system installation in Europe or US Background in Electrical Engineering
• Knowledge of power systems, grid connection, AC and DC electrical system design, PV modules, PV racks, inverters and other peripheral equipment and components
• Experience in design and production of drawings and specification for PV systems
• Experience with energy yield prediction tools (PVSYS, PVSOL etc.) an advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team and further develop skills of team
• Project Management skills a plus
• Willingness to travel in China and open for new culture experiences
