COMPETITOR ANALYST - BEIJING

Travelling: Yes, within China
Responsibilities:
+ Identify, analyse and interpret technical highlights as well as cost- and weight potential via competitor analysis on cars
+ Identification and analysis of the main competitors via whole car breakdown and core area/key aspect breakdown as well as comparison test drives and management test drives
+ Analysis of technical development of competitors
+ Derivation and prognosis for future vehicle generations of competitors
+ Acquisition and documentation of all new released vehicles in the Chinese automotive market
+ Creating and preparation of exhibitions preview and exhibition highlight documentation for all major automotive exhibitions in China
+ Development and maintenance of auto mobile database (CARS)
Requirements:
+ Diplom Ingenieur or Bachelor degree in engineering, automotive engineering, electrical engineering or similar degree gained either in Germany or China
+ Vocational training as automotive engineer or similar very strongly preferred
+ At least 3 or more years relevant working experience in automotive or automotive supplier industry
+ At least 1 years working experience in vehicle development
+ Proven knowledge of Chinese automotive market
+ Good general technical understanding
+ Detailed engineering understanding of vehicles
+ Detailed know-how on relevant products in the automotive market
+ Computer literate
+ Good Team Player
+ Able to work under pressure and within deadlines
+ Fluent in written and spoken English, Chinese and German
+ Willing to work and live in Beijing, China
+ Willingness to travel within China
