Project Engineer (m/f) – Function Development and Calibration for Advanced Transmission Systems
Location: Shanghai (V.R. China) – Reference Number: IAVCN-17813

Your tasks

• Requirements engineering and specification generation
• Modelling and simulation
• Algorithm development
• Evaluation of reference vehicles regarding drivability and shift behaviour
• Transmission calibration at test bench and in vehicle
• Planning and execution of test bench and vehicle measurements
• Participation at test trips (e.g. cold or hot climate, high altitude)
• Clarification of technical requests together with technical departments and preparation of technical proposals and reports

Your skills

• Bachelor / Master Degree in Mechatronics, Control Systems, Electrical * * Engineering or Automotive Engineering
• At least 2 years of working experience with transmission focus
• Experience in transmission and/or hybrid systems: TCU software and hardware, model-based design, simulation, testing, calibration, etc.
• Experience in model-based software design and simulation using standard tools like Matlab/Simulink
• Experience in standard calibration tools like CANape or INCA
• Basic knowledge of development processes in automotive engineering
• Good communication skills
• Customer orientation, teamwork skills and ability to work independently
• Language skills: Chinese and English or German
• Interest in cross-cultural cooperation and international business trips
