Software Developer and Technical Research Engineer

Duration: Minimum 3 months
Allowance: 2,000-2,500 CNY/month, plus lunch and access to the gym and swimming pool
Location: Beijing, China
Daily tasks:
The intern will work in the company’s R&D department. The daily tasks will mainly be focused on two different areas, depending on the qualifications of the intern and on the duration of the internship.
Software development for main products and side products of the company.
- Work within a team to develop, design and continuously improve the company’s applications and services.
- Communicate with both technical and business teams through applicable documentation and training.
- Provide valuable feedback on performance, logic and maintenance issues.
- Assist in the release of the company’s projects in the production environment.
- Participate in the resolution of challenging and demanding conceptual problems.
- Actively contribute to reflective exercises for further improvement of completed projects.
Technical research both theoretical and practical (experiments and trials).
Requirements:
- Technical students or newly graduates in IT, Mathematics, Statistics, Electronic Engineering, Mobile telecom.
- Software development: C, C++, Linux and/or web development languages.
- Mobile telecom (GSM, WCDMA, GPRS) and IP networking knowledge. CCNA, CCNP, CCIE certifications are a plus.
- Good motivation to learn Chinese and communicate and work closely with the Chinese staff.
- Patient and easily adaptable to a very collaborative environment.
- Competent coding habits and focus on code documentation
- Organized, analytical team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
