As a Specialist for Usability Lab Equipment and Driving Simulation Environment you are responsible for

• Technical planning, installing and coordinating of soft- and hardware equipment for a usability lab in Bejiing and / or Shanghai, including recording equipment, statistical tools and video recording.
• Transfering of BMW driving simulator environment from Munich to Beijing (hardware + software).
• Frequently modifying, updating and maintaining of both driving simulator environment as well as mock-up hardware and testing equipment in coordination with Munich and Shanghai.
• Frequently Contacting and networking with other relevant local and international departments like the German headquarter for Concept Quality or the BMW research & technology (driving simulation) as well as relevant suppliers.

Qualification

• Major in mechanics, electrics or IT- engineering.
• Two to three years of job experience.
• One to three years of experience in automotive industry.
• Four to six years of experience in IT-management (hardware, software).
• One to three years of experience in server environment, architecture and network management.
• Advanced IT-knowledge (Hardware, Programming, Patching).
• Knowledge of car communication networks (CAN, LIN…) and architectures.
• Simulation environment.
• Business English fluent mandatory.
• Driving license (China) and driving experience.
• Team Work skills and good communication skills.
