Tasks

A varied, interesting position awaits you.

As an Application Powertrain Engineer New Energy Vehicles you will

  • Assist Project Managing for NEV development in terms of requirements, development support, Testing and Reporting.
  • Identify, rate and communicate local market or customer needs for all NEV´s in alignment with all relevant process partners.
  • Collect product information, technical specification, concepts, and costs of NEVs in Chinese market in order to obtain target values for BMW´s requirements.
  • Assist development departments both in China and Germany in evaluating solutions related to the needs of the Chinese market/customers.
  • Test planning, updating, measuring and testing cars. Reporting results to BMW´s failure management systems.
  • Support the development of several departments and partners for engineering.

Qualification

  • University degree (bachelor, master or diploma), preferably in engineering.
  • Advanced knowledge in Battery Technology.
  • Advanced knowledge in System Layout electrical NEV.
  • Advanced English mandatory, basic German desired.
  • Basic knowledge in Project Management.
