Duration: 3, 6, or 12 months
Allowance: lunch + possible business travel
Location: Beijing, China
Daily tasks:
- Attempt contact with potential IP law infringers in China on behalf of the Law Firm
- Draft e-mails to set up business relations with producers of goods in China
- Travel to different parts of China to meet with producers
- Possible translation (mostly Chinese to English)
- Write up investigation reports (in English)
Requirements:
- Must be available to work either half or full weekdays
- Must have a flexible schedule so that you can travel for business on short notice
- Must have an interest in law
- Intermediate knowledge of Chinese language
Remarks:
- You will have the chance to obtain an internship experience in a Chinese Law Firm with foreign elements. After the internship, the company can issue a letter of internship verification as you require. This company serves large quantities of foreign clients, and is reputable in the law industry circle.
- This position may require you to travel within China. This will give you a great opportunity to see more of China and learn about local life and culture.
