Our Client: A leading global player in compressor technology for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry from Germany. The company is distinctive for high standards of quality and reliable customer services.
From around 3,000 employees working for the company around the globe, more than 800 work in China, where the company has been established 15 years ago.
The Position
We are looking for an experienced Production Manager. He should be fluent in German and English language; speaking Mandarin is an advantage.
Tasks：
- Leading the entire production process from commencement of work to dispatch
- Planning, monitoring, and continuous optimization of the production process
- Implementation of system- and investment-planning as well as budget-monitoring
- Supporting site-layout planning and monitoring expansion measures
- Carry out training knowledge transfer in the area of manufacturing
- Reporting to the Production Director in China, who is responsible for all plants in China
- Close cooperation and communication with the main plants in Germany
Requirements
- Engineering-education with focus on mechanical engineering or production engineering or related subjects
- Several years of experience in managing a complex manufacturing unit for machine construction
- Ideally, experience in CNC machining of aluminium and cast iron components
- Knowledge of modern production systems
- Several years of professional- and management experience in China with appropriate intercultural competences.
- Excellent communication skills and high level of assertiveness
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
