MAN Truck & Bus (China) Co.Ltd, is looking for its new office in Jinan (Shandong) for a Senior Aftersales Manager – Service Management (m/f)
MAN Truck & Bus AG, based in Munich, Germany, is the biggest company of the MAN Group, and a top-ranking international supplier of commercial vehicles and transport solutions. MAN Truck & Bus manufactures trucks in the range of 7.49 to 44 tonnes in gross weight, heavy special-purpose vehicles with a gross weight rating of up to 250 tonnes, city and intercity buses and coaches (complete buses and chassis), and diesel and natural-gas engines. In 2009, MAN acquired a 25%+1 share stake in Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Ltd., one of China’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers.
Your Tasks
• Responsible for service and documentation within the aftersales organisation
• Setup and management of a support team
• Definition of 1st and 2nd level support functions
• After initial period, setup of 1st and 2nd level support functions
• Definition for documentation needs of new export vehicles
• Preparation of documentation for the sales and after sales business, such as parts catalogue, maintenance guidelines, user guidelines, bodybuilder guidelines etc.
• Coordination between relevant management at MAN and Sinotruk
• Reporting to Head of Aftersales, part of the aftersales management team
• Monthly reporting
Your Qualification
• University degree, strong technical background, experience in aftersales / service
• 7-10+ years work experience, ideally within automotive / commercial vehicle industry
• Management experience, ability to lead a team
• Strong believe in customer focus
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office software, especially MS-Word and Powerpoint.
• Entrepreneurship, willingness to build up new structures and processes
• Good English and Chinese language skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness for occasional travel
• Experience working within an international team
