MAN Truck & Bus (China) Co.Ltd, is looking for its new office in Jinan (Shandong) for a Marketing & Communication Manager (m/f)
MAN Truck & Bus AG, based in Munich, Germany, is the biggest company of the MAN Group, and a top-ranking international supplier of commercial vehicles and transport solutions. MAN Truck & Bus manufactures trucks in the range of 7.49 to 44 tonnes in gross weight, heavy special-purpose vehicles with a gross weight rating of up to 250 tonnes, city and intercity buses and coaches (complete buses and chassis), and diesel and natural-gas engines. In 2009, MAN acquired a 25%+1 share stake in Sinotruk (Hong Kong) Ltd., one of China’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturers.
Your Tasks
• First point of contact for creation of new marketing and communication guidelines
• Engage in defining general branding and marketing strategy for new export product line-up
• Support marketing departments of MAN and Sinotruk in creating branding guidelines
• Development of product marketing (marketing materials, communication etc.)
• General link and coordination between marketing managers at MAN and Sinotruk
• Development of product launch management concepts
• Preparation of communication guidelines
• Organisation of marketing and communication events (e.g. press conference, exhibitions etc.)
• Monthly reporting
Your Qualification
• University degree in business administration, marketing or similar qualification
• 2-5 years work experience
• Experience with marketing and branding issues
• Entrepreneurship, willingness to build up new structures and processes
• Good English and Chinese language skills, both written and spoken, German language skills are a bonus
• Experience working within an international team is a bonus
• Willingness for occasional travel to Singapore and Germany
