Electric Vehicle Engineer/Management Trainee

Job Descriptions:

  • Understand existing tech. requirements in China and that of the potential client export destination.
  • Utilization of existing TUVR networks in Mobility (OEMs) in China and EU/ Germany, learn about existing services in Japan/ Germany/ China, and communicate with those experts there.
  • Coordination of all EV activities of TUV Rheinland GC, all business lines, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Regular pot. client visits (about 50% of his time), communication/ with all internal lines/ labs, government labs/ working grps./ authorities. Prepare business plans for investments and strategic *EV market development of TUVR GC and follow up this strategy regular with M04 Director and involved lines/ labs.

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent in Chinese and English
  • Having worked in the car industry for at least 5 years
  • Must have an engineering background (electrical or mechanical)
  • Connected with OEM and component suppliers of car industry
  • Relations to authorities related to car industry and governmental bodies
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Having a basic understanding of EV industry
  • The job holder reports directly to the GC Mobility Managing Director and communicates and coordinates all EV activities of TUV Rheinland GC. In this regard he communicates closely with other BL Managing directors, Marketing and Central Sales. The outcome of the activities will be regularly presented to the board. He will also closely communicate with the EV heads of other regions (especially Germany).
  • The objective of the job holder is to create synergy, to strengthen the contact to the EV industry, governments and other related organizations and to make sure that all aspects of our service range is considered for EV. He will prepare business plan that are regular followed up with by the BL Managing Director.
