Senior LEED Engineer

Qualification and Skills:

  • LEED Accredited Professional with specialty in Building Design and Construction (LEED AP BD&C)
  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture or Civil Engineering or Environmental Science, or related field
  • Minimum of five years of professional practice experience in the sustainable building industry
  • Experience in taking LEED projects through completion of certification as a key project team member
  • In-depths knowledge of the market, including involved (governmental) authorities, institutions, organization etc., as well as developers and investors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Managerial experience and ability to coordinate project teams
  • Proven record of success in development and supervision of subordinates
  • Technical writing proficiency

Languages:

  • Native Mandarin speaker
  • Good English skills required
  • German a plus

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of the LEED Certification Department
  • Sales and business development of LEED Certification Department in order to enhance business opportunities
  • Networking and contact to authorities, government, investors and developers
  • Technical Consultation on energy efficiency building, green building or other energy efficiency related projects
  • Advise staff in the development and implementation of LEED rating system
  • Preparation of audit reports
  • Conduction of on site audits at client’s facilities
  • Assist client staff, as needed, in managing the project process
  • Development of measures to achieve compliance with LEED standards or other requirements
  • Supervision during project implementation and final commissioning
  • Deliverables to clients, handling quality reviews, visits to job sites, and client meetings
