Goals/Mission
Take technical responsibility for optical and magnetical encoders, safety brakes, connectors and insulations systems with close relation to the motor drive specialists for PMSM servomotor products inside R&D organization. Identify trends and catch opportunities to develop this technical field to high level.

Tasks
-Define feature requirements for optical and magnetical encoders, safety brakes, connectors and insulation systems for (PMSM) servomotor products
-Coordinate specific development projects for the above mentioned components with suppliers to meet the planned budget, scheduled time frame and quality targets
-Follow the state-of-the art of the above mentioned components. Watch the intellectual property right (patents etc.) situation for the components attended to
Coordinate the qualification of new components of the above mentioned technical area together with type and system test department
-Technically support of sales, customers and technical staff members as well as support of the production site during the production introduction and serial production
-Identify innovation and ratio (cost saving) opportunities for the above mentioned components

Education
-Electrical or electromechanical engineer or comparable educational background.
Master degree or above

Knowledge/Languages
-Communication skills in English
-measurement technique and automatic control engineering
-motor inverter systems
-electronic design and electrical interfaces
-technical and geometrical optics
-technical material properties and behavior, mechanics

Experience
-5 years + experience in motor (preferrable PMSM servomotor) research and development area or engineering field
