-Major/Specialty: PhD in Polymer, Material Science & Engineering (not bio materials, not organic synthesis)
-Consolidate knowledge and experience in polymers for electronic and electrotechnical components (resins and composites)
-Consolidate knowledge and experience in polymer processing
-Hands on experience with characterization of polymers & composites
-At least 5 years working experience is required

Main task/Requirements
-Material assessments and consultation for plastic related questions within Siemens
-Work together with Senior Scientists and business partners for trouble shooting and development of new solutions
-Make survey of plastic material R&D in universities and industrial companies, scouting technology trends in E&E industry
-Carry out pre-development literature research and review report
-A good command of oral English is required
