Responsibility:
•Responsible for the mechanical engineering analysis of steam turbine components
•Involves design, engineering and team skills
•Design team members, engineering (thermodynamics, blading, rotordynamics, operation, materials), supply management, order management, manufacturing, assembly, service, global engineering network, external vendors and line management

Task:
•Mechanical Design of steam turbine components
•Develops mechanical design rules, tools and correlations
•Evaluates non-conformance reports and defines further measures. Troubleshooting for manufacturing deviations and field issues.
•Supports engineering network. Involves experts in reviews, discusses design solutions, incorporates feedback and supports other projects by providing expertise. Documents knowledge by supporting and preparing design guidelines.

Knowledge:
•PG Business Processes: Knowledge of PDP (Product Development Process)
•Relevant Processes for Engineering Business Unit (BU)
•Technical Product Knowledge for Engineering BU
•Technical Computing
•Design Guidelines (BRD and/or other) for Engineering BU
•Design Concepts for Engineering Business Unit
•Design Skills for Engineering Business Unit
•Documentation& Documentation Skills
•Guide and Train Employees
•Interface Coordination & other Disciplines

Experience:
•Experienced in Steam Turbine Sector; Develop new Concepts for Steam Turbine Components
•Product Development Process (PDP), BRD’s and/or other.
•Work in Global Engineering Network

Education:
Master or above

Language:
English
