A varied, interesting position awaits you.
As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for maintaining an Application or an IT system. You will plan and control the development of the application or of the IT system.
At this position as a Subproject team leader for the “Application Development Project” as a sub-project of the “CRM Restructuring Project” you will be responsible for achieving the project objectives and keeping to the schedules and costs. You will be responsible for converting user requirements into IT specification. You need to understand the project as well as the integration / migration of national solutions. One of your major tasks is to monitor and control the creation of the deliverables (including changes), take care of the execution of the required acceptances and hand over the project deliverables into the line (maintenance and operation).
Key responsibilities
- Ensure consolidation of emergency activities into regular maintenance.
- Plan and control further development of the system (global Release planning)
- Evaluate maintenance activities.
- Assign orders for maintenance (internal and external)
- Plan, apply for and monitor internal resources.
- Contact with the tender for external services, award and monitor the contracts (partner management).
- Plan and execute the acceptance (Reviews, Gateways) of the suggested solution.
- Issue the particular Release Planning.
- Contribute to the creating of the backout plan.
- Prepare and performs the technical and operational approval.
- Create and communicates the Release Notes.
- Contribute to training and communication planning.
- Set up the communication and training measures.
- Conduct the communication measures.
- Contribute to the planning and purchasing of the necessary Hardware and Software (BUILD).
- Start Update project in a regular manner (Project Brief, Kick-off, LoP etc.).
- Define project deliverables and their development (Retail & Wholesale Applications).
- Work with a project team.
- Plan, apply and monitor internal and external resources.
- Write bidding documents for external services and award and monitor the contracts.
- Plan in and execute acceptances (Reviews, Gateways).
- Decide on and set priorities for activities / changes.
- Hand over project deliverables into the line (maintenance and operation).
Qualification
- Bachelor / Master degree in Computer science or similar field of study.
- Work experience in an international enterprise, preferably some years abroad.
- Experience in CRM Business Processes, preferably in the Automotive Industry.
- Knowledge of CRM processes, Project Process Definitions (ISO, CMMI, ITIL).
- Competence in using MS Office, MS-Project and MS-SQL Server.
- Advanced experience in: DBA-Oracle 7.3.4-10.x, Goldmine Corporate Edition (6.7), Goldmine Enterprise Edition, Goldmine Sync (6.5), Inaport (Inaplex) Professional Edition (GM Connector), TOAD (TOADSoft) for Oracle / SQL-Server, Siebel CRM Suite (Oracle) , PowerCenter (Informatica), BMW GM Enhancements (KRevolution [4.1], Retail Integration [5.0]), CIC Applications (Arvato Systems), All Interface relevant Applications (NDB, DMS, Webportal, etc.), Visual Basic, JAVA/OO , .Net, C#, ETL, SQL (MS+Oracle), Datamodeling/Design, SOA/XML and HTML/AJAX.
