To work within various departments in our “Sourcing and Procurement Merchandise division”, we require a number of experienced and dedicated Buyers of Technical Equipment (m/f).

The focus of your activities will be the purchase of electro mechanical or electronic components, assemblies, tools and mouldings, including moulded plastic parts, as well as plastics production tools.

Duties and Essential Functions

• Selecting and evaluating suppliers
• Handling purchasing negotiations
• Awarding contracts
• Negotiating framework agreements
• Handling yearly price negotiations
• Collaborating in ratio projects

Qualifications/skills, abilities and experience
For this challenging role you will be educated to degree level in technical or business management.

Working within an international environment, good skills in both written and spoken English are essential, as is a good working knowledge of German. Previous professional experience in purchasing would also be an advantage. You will be able to work with up-to-date systems, including MS Office and SAP R/3 and be flexible in terms of business travel. As a first-class negotiator, you will demonstrate a targetoriented working style.
