As an Advanced Specialist Supplier Parts Change Control you will be responsible for:

• Steering of technical changes.
• Interface between Engineering / Purchasing / Supplier.
• Monitoring / Support of implementation of technical changes at BMW Brilliance and Supplier.
• Supplier parts change process qualification.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for allocate new part number (P/N) to supplier project and buyer based on LC concept to trigger buyers to create local purchase orders according to agreed target time line.
• Create Request for Quotation and send to local supplier for engineering changes and steering change implementation process.
• Check engineering release dress level for JIS (Just-In-Sequence) parts and decide dispocode on part number level for both EMCC running changes and launch phase.
• Coordination with local suppliers in scope of supplier parts change control process, ensure proper change process and information flow with internal BMW Brilliance related department as well as outside parties.
• Forecast of budget for running changes.
• Distribution of Change Management information and follow-up with related buyers to make sure investigation feedback within agreed time line and support buyers and suppliers for Change Management technical queries and clarification with BMW AG Engineering.
• Lead weekly change meeting with JIS suppliers, Purchasing, Parts Quality, Change Control, Engineering and Logistics to ensure proper introduction of technical change and support on Bill of Material clarification.
• Representative of project meetings, Integration process, Parts and launch meetings for purchasing.
• Strong supporting to logistics and the Launch & Change Control Department of BMW Brilliance in daily operation of Technical Order.
  Datasets clarification and Product Owner status etc..

Qualification

• Master Degree / University.
• Min. 4 year experience in automotive industry.
• 4-6 years Background in automotive industry.
• 4-6 years Experience in automotive production processes.
• 4-6 years Profound knowledge of tooling processes.
• Technical background of automotive components.
• Knowledge of automotive production, tooling processes and change management process.
• Understanding of BMW AG and BMW Brilliance internal change process.
• Proficiency in Office applications, SAP R3 and BMW Group engineering systems.
• Supplier qualification skills and project management.
• Analytical thinking, responsible and result-oriented personality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in intercultural environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English, German language skills preferred.
