You will be ensuring the physical logistic process, operation quality, maintenance of powertrain-production control and logistic systems, problem solving.

Key responsibilities

• 1st Level support, i.g. designing and running the internal problem solving process of physical logistics.
• Ensures the powertrain-production control and logistic systems: enhancement and maintenance of powertrain-production control and logistic systems, i.g. maintains basic data, analyses failures and solves the corresponding problems, provides methods and systems to the manufacturing departments to meet quality requirements and targets.
• Evaluates the product and process quality provided by the manufacturing and the planning departments.
• Warehouse configuration, i.g. parts receiving and supply process optimisation, as well as warehouse and line side layout optimization, analyses part storage and if necessary, provides solving methods.
• Coordinates IT basis and maintenance with the SAP R/3 system.
• Coordinates business process analysis with related departments in order to enhance the system functionality.
• Delivers training to key users and end users.

Qualification

• University degree in Information science, industrial/vehicle/mechanical engineering or comparable educational background.
• Knowledge of powertrain-production control and logistic systems, e.g. QM-system and QM-tools (logistics IT process knowledge).
• Powertrain-production control and logistic systems administration in SAP and handling background with information technology or relevant industry, experience in body construction and powertrain.
• Experience in logistic operation and process, especially in warehouse configuration, planning.
• Experience in IT software administration ( server, wireless network, etc.).
• Experience in MS SQL/Oracle database management and maintenance.
• Chinese fluent, sound knowledge of English, German would be an advantage.
• Competence in using MS Office, Windows.
• Open mindedness.
• Ability to take own initiative.
• Highly developed perceptive faculties to assimilate technical issues.
• Ability to work in a team and very good communication skills.
