MANAGER CONTROLLING AND FINANCE (ASIA) – [German Speaker is highly preferred]

Reporting to: Global Group Controller (Automotive Division)
Team size: 120
Traveling: About 30% within China, mostly Changzhou and Taizhou. Also possibly within Asia, depending on business development of company

Responsibilities:
> Purpose of position
+ Be responsible for the establishment of a production plant / production facilities in China with regard to all relevant processes, tools in Controlling & Finance
+ Ensure the introduction of standardized processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of financial indicators and results
+ Implementation of SAP, specializing in the field FI / CO
+ Be responsible for compliance with legal and company specific requirements in the areas of occupational safety and environmental protection
+ On a yearly base advise and instruct the subordinates at admission, transfer, specific incidents repeatedly about the applicable safety and environmental protection regulations at the workplace
+ Be a interface and communication coordinator between the country organizations in China and Germany for all relevant business issues in cooperation with the responsible global positions of this company, in the implementation of specific guidelines from the holding company
+ Be a contact for the external and internal audit
> Further responsibilities of position
+ Participate in all traditional functions of investment controlling for company in Asia
+ Be involvement in the planning (strategy, budget funds and long-term planning) and the internal and external reporting (monthly / quarterly or annual reports)
+ Analysis of business plans, investment plans and its current performance (Plan-/Ist-variances, derivation of recommended measures, tracking of monthly results and result analysis
+ Contact person for all administrative issues of their care business unit in Asia
+ Participation in the optimization of business processes and the development of companies controlling instruments
+ Know how contribution on a variety of projects, economic analysis and special functions
+ Evaluation of investment projects and preparation of projects as a template for the management decision
+ Identification of risks
+ Implementation of corporate policies and new IFRS standards
+ Participation in the preparation of strategic planning, development of planning scenarios
+ Personal responsibility: professional association of local controlling in Asia



Requirements:
+ Bachelor degree or above in Business Administration with or related with focus on Controlling
+ 5+ years working experience in a controlling function of an international enterprise
+ Relevant working experience in Project management
+ Working experience in China (Asia)
+ Several years working experience in a controlling function of a international automotive company
+ Excellent knowledge of all commonly used SAP Controlling tools, especially SAP R/3 Modul CO/ FI, HFM
+ Very good MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)
+ Analytical skills
+ Analytical and result orientated mind set
+ Pro-active working style
+ Great communication skills on all levels
+ Flexible, work well under pressure, inter-culturally competent
+ Fluent in written and spoken English, but Chinese preferred
+ German speaker most strongly preferred
+ Willing to work and live in Changzhou, Jiangsu province
+ Willing to travel within China and internationally
