We are inviting applications from qualified candidates for the following position, commencing as soon as possible

Quality Manager China

Position and Responsibilities:

• Assessment of manufacturing equipment and capabilities and conduct official audits to approve suppliers
• Develop existing and new potential suppliers in terms of quality and process reliability
• Work in close cooperation with German headquarters in order to define technical requirements and expectations for each product group
• Support purchasing and sourcing activities of Wuerth Industry in China
• Discuss quality issues with suppliers in behalf of Wuerth Industry companies worldwide
• Provide information on what suppliers are capable of and technically describe what they can supply

Requirements:

• Fastener industry experience in production is a must
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/ or work experience in a related industry that would provide the candidate a good understanding of manufacturing techniques
• Familiar with ISO9001 or TS16949 quality system as well as Fastener Standards ASME, ANSI, SAE, ASTM, ISO, DIN etc
• Good English knowledge both in writing and speaking
• Willingness to travel in China and to our German headquarters
