Sourcing Manager Taiwan

Position and Responsibilities:

• Develop great business relations with existing and new potential suppliers, trade associations etc.
• Support purchasing activities of Wuerth Industry in Taiwan
• Assessment of manufacturing equipment and capabilities and ideally be able to conduct official audits to approve suppliers
• Constantly improve processes and procedures as well as to develop new business/ new product groups (e.g. assemblies, kits, skin-boards, quality services).
• Provide information on what suppliers are capable of and technically describe what they can supply as well as general market trends such as raw material price developments, exchange rate developments
• Prepare and analyze data and derive actions from the results, check the plausibility of pricing, develop pricing models with suppliers etc.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering and/ or work experience in a related industry that would provide the candidate a good understanding of manufacturing techniques
• Fastener industry experience is a great plus, if not a must.
• Familiar with ISO9001 or TS16949 quality system as well as Fastener Standards ASME, ANSI, SAE, ASTM, ISO, DIN etc
• Good English knowledge both in writing and speaking
