Job Description
The Senior Marketing Specialist will be working within the Products Operating Group, supporting one of the fastest growing markets in Asia Pacific – China. Working from an agreed upon China marketing plan, the individual will liaise/collaborate with global Products Marketing team and with the regional Asia Pacific marketing team in areas such as events management, localization of global marketing materials and generation of thought leadership materials, etc., to help enable the growth of the China domestic business. Additionally, he/she will liaise with regional Marketing to help create localized marketing materials to assist the client teams in their selling efforts and for use in both internal and external events.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main support person for Products Marketing China, managing the region’s day-to-day marketing activities
  • Work with Greater China lead (based in Singapore) in managing and executing marketing programs that raise internal/external awareness and generate demand for our Industry Offerings within Products
  • Liaise with local China geography marketing team to execute local campaigns and programs (including events sponsorship and opportunity/ customer-centric marketing campaigns)
  • Participate on periodic team calls and prepare presentations as needed
  • Monitor and execute marketing communications plans, such as: 1. Internal communications: Tracking and collection of events and post-events feedback to be featured in the local Marketing update Newsletter 2. Conferences and events: Coordinate event sponsorships (approval from various departments, process of payment) and speaking engagements, including presentation development; preparation and submission of marketing promotional materials as stated in sponsorship contracts 3. Thought leadership: Coordinate localization efforts pertaining to translation of English thought leadership materials (point of views/ brochures/ videos) to Chinese, from briefing of translator to copy review, seeking comments from local subject matter expert, to creative layout work 4. Others: coordinate on production of new local marketing materials such as video shoot of interviews with our Senior Executives or selected Accenture clients

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or other four-year university degree
  • Minimum of three years of integrated marketing experience

Preferred Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese language
  • Minimum of three years of marketing in services/consulting organization

Professional Skills Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with events management – from planning to preparation and execution
  • Experience with managing marketing services personnel, agencies and/or contractors * Thorough understanding and ability to apply marketing concepts, branding and message development skills
  • Regional perspective and understanding of business marketplace
  • Budget management and financial reporting skills for project(s)
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Ability to manage projects under tight deadlines
