The Wermelskirchen-based Emil Lux GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1918. As a European tools expert with more than 85 years of experience, it is successful in marketing in the Do-it-yourself.At the end of the 1969, Doctor Emil Lux and Manfred Maus developed an absolutely new business model in Wermelskirchen which had been very successful in the USA for some time and unheard of in Germany, namely the do-it-yourself stores. Under one roof, these stores offered all ranges of products for do-it-yourself. Since the opening of the first OBI store in 1970 (shopping centre Alstertal, Hamburg-Poppenbüttel) the sales area of the OBI stores have developed from 870 m2 to an average of 12,000 m2. In the business year 2006/2007, the total sales area amounted to 3.3 million m2.
OBI Asia Trade and LUX-Tools (both belonging to the OBI Group in Germany) have successfully been sourcing and purchasing separately in the Far East for many years. Each company is specialized in sourcing and exporting products to Europe within their own Categories-LUX for hand tools and OBI Asia Trade for technical, building, living and garden products categories.
Since 1 July 2006 both organizations have been operating under the new name LUX (Shanghai) Co. Ltd. (a member of the OBI Group) and move into a joint office in Shanghai.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To check with suppliers to provide the required shipping document on time
2. To verify and ensure all required shipping documents from the suppliers complying with our company policy
3 .To coordinate with suppliers, merchansdisers and nominated forwarders about the shipment movement within shipping window
4. To update the OTS system on time carefully and without error
5. To communicate with Germany Logistics counterparts about shipment issues
6. To handle ad hoc project required by the company

GENERAL REQUIREMENT
Excellent communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and mature to handle emergencies.
A good team player who works independently and under high pressure.
Good command of written and spoken English. German would be an advantage.
Good at MS office and computer skill.

POSITION REQUIREMENT
-Bachelor degree or above.
-Over 5 years’shipping working experience in import & export area, prefer customer service experience in forward or trading company.
-Has knowledge in L/C documentations.
-Familiarity with export transactions to European markets.
-Strong problem solving skills and detail-orientated.
