YauKam Asia Ltd. Hangzhou office was founded in 1998 as a trading office. In 2005 all operations were taken over by the German s.Oliver Group. The s.Oliver Hangzhou office is the sole buying agent for s.Oliver in mainland China. They source for their customers a wide range of garments and accessories made of fabrics and yarns with a variety of washing and finishing processes. They also offer numerous value add-ons such as printing, embroidery, hand knitting and crochet.

Internship Offer: R&D Intern

Job Description:

  • Supporting and assisting the Research and Development Team for sourcing and sample development of fabrics, yarns, finishing and trimmings, according to the international market demands and s.Oliver product standards
  • Assist with distributing product information among relevant parties within the s.Oliver group, which includes preparing sample garments, material specs and price information.
  • Search for China domestic and international fashion trends and compose a market study and trend report guide
  • Filing and organizing the fabric library
  • Help out with a variety of tasks related to running the daily business

Requirements:

  • Previous fashion design experience and/or schooling
  • Proficiency in English(German is a plus)
  • Knowledge of Excel and Photoshop
  • Organized, detailed oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
