At our Beijing location we are currently looking for logistics and production system engineers / consultants for our fast growing automotive division. The open position focuses on technical planning which includes the design of logistics and production systems such as distribution centre’s and production warehouses but also line feeding concepts or the design of entire plant logistics. Here we follow a process oriented approach which will always combine technical systems with organizational solutions.

Responsibilities:

• project management and execution in the field of automotive sectors in logistics and supply chain planning (warehouse & production logistics, line feeding, supply chain, strategy)
• planning of production and logistics systems including material flow and information flow solutions
• execution of optimization projects as well as green field planning (technical as well as organizational)
• analysis of weak points in processes and organization of our customers
• planning, design and implementation of technical layouts and logistics solutions

Requirements:

• nationality :German
• degree in engineering or business administration and engineering
• sound experience in fields of logistic planning, logistic consulting / Supply Chain Management with focus on production logistics in automotive companies
• minimum of 5 years logistics planning experience in automotive industry
• understanding of common logistics IT and interfaces to employees and equipment (WMS)
• readiness of mind and conceptual strength
• knowledge of operational and organizational structures of projects and project management
• fluent German & English, spoken / verbal and written, negotiating skills
• intercultural competence and travel readiness
• distinctive customer orientation
• proficient with the use of MS office products * ability to work in teams, professional appearance as well as presentation skills
• experiences in consulting desirable
